It's fine for him to spend 10 grand on marketing what he calls a 'business venture' but is clearly just a glorified (expensive) hobby and yet he will not spend twenty dollars to buy be a subscription to LJ! Consistency issues much! I don't care if I have to shawshank him until he's just a bunch of stone chips on the ground. I wwwaaaannnnttt eeeetttt *is bratty*.
On the other hand I made two very important decisions this weeks.
One, I choose my VCE subjects (VCE is the final two years of school, and the accumulation unto final exams *shudder*). I'm fairly happy with my choices, if not completely, as throughly as I can be; although I have to say I will miss doing photography. I'm beginning to really enjoy the subject this semester.
But whatever, Boring for anyone who isn't me or my parents. Or anyone who hasn't listened to me freak out for the last couple of weeks.
Secondly I brought a new pair of jeans. A dangerous, nerve wreaking and difficult task that in my opinion totally trumps choosing my Math subject. I hate change rooms, I hate chain stores, I hate being (apparently) a size twelve in a size six world. I'm completely comfortable with my body most of the time, and even if I wasn't I just really love food, so I ask you, why must I turn to teen-jello trying to find a pair of jeans which don't make me look like a hippopotamus. I got thinking about it because of a particularly enlightening post by bre which brought up some very interesting points up about what will be known through out history as the porn revolution of 2007, but also the sick movement of pro-rexia sites.
Ew to the extreme. And dangerous, and so not something an impressionable fifteen year old should be looking at. I'm not going to do the whole ranty panty thing, but I suggest you all read Bre's post.
